JAKARTA – Apple rumor has it that it will launch the iPhone 15 series in 2023 and the company will no longer be carrying the Pro Max model.
This, as Gizchina reported on Tuesday (9/27/2022), was revealed by a well-known Bloomberg gadget observer, Mark Gurman. Apple is rumored to replace the Pro Max model with the Ultra variant.
Interestingly, the iPhone 15 Ultra is not just a replacement, but a direct upgrade from the Pro Max variant.
iPhone 15, iPhone 15 Plus, iPhone 15 Pro, and iPhone 15 Ultra will be the four devices that make up the iPhone 15 series, so it looks like Apple is starting to mimic the footsteps of its competitors, not the other way around.
Apple is said to be following Xiaomi’s steps in introducing a 12S Ultra or Android model like the Galaxy S22 Ultra. Though supporters think this has also been done by Apple since it unveiled the new Apple Watch Ultra.
The iPhone Ultra model is said to be here to balance the American giant’s many product lines. No less interesting, the iPhone 15 Ultra will come with a USB-C port.
According to Gurman, Apple updates iPhones significantly every three years. IPhone 15 Pro and 15 Ultra are also rumored to be eligible for TSMC’s upgraded A17 processor at 3nm in 2023.
In addition, the iPhone 15 also offers a periscope sensor which provides a more effective optical zoom. Unfortunately, for now, the details of the development are not known in detail. So far, Apple hasn’t commented.
