According to a notice published by French Fnac, smartphone manufacturers in France will no longer have to put headphones in the box. Thus, this obligation will be eliminated for Apple as well. Sources abroad, referring to the notification, also say that Apple will stop putting EarPods in iPhone boxes in France from January 24.
