It’s no longer a secret that Apple is working on new iPads, and according to renowned analyst Ming-Chi Kuo, a new iPad mini on the Cupertino side is also in preparation.
Kuo explains it in a series of tweets the launch of the new model could take place in late 2023 or early 2024since the debut of a new iPad with a foldable screen is rather unlikely.

In other words, if you’ve been waiting for a foldable iPhone, you better not get too delusional, as it is expected to launch in 2025. Therefore, Apple doesn’t want to abandon the iPad mini and replace it with a foldable versionmainly due to the high price that such a device would entail.
The new iPad mini may be announced in fall 2023, but shipments won’t begin until late 2023 or early 2024.
«I think Apple is unlikely to replace the iPad mini with a foldable iPad in 2025, which may be contrary to what some media previously predicted. That’s because a foldable iPad will cost significantly more than an iPad mini, so such a replacement isn’t reasonable.,” Kuo explained in a tweet this week.
