Apple will expand the iPad range with a new “budget” device in 2025 — what do we know about it?

According to Mark Gurman de Bloomberg Apple is working on a new “cheap” 11th-generation iPad, which will likely go on sale in spring 2025.

The model will have the same design as the current version, but will receive a “speed boost.” The cost of the current “budget” iPad line starts at $350 — we assume the new one will be the same price.

In recent months, Apple has been working on updating the entire iPad range, starting with the launch of a new iPad Pro with M4, iPad Air with a 12.9-inch screen and the recently launched iPad mini with support for Apple Pencil . “The newcomer” to the mini line has received virtually no updates over its predecessor, except for the Apple A17 Pro chip, which will allow the tablet to support Apple Intelligence options.

In addition to the “economical” one, Apple is preparing a new iPad Pro with the M5 chip — according to Gourmet, it could be released in late 2025 or early 2026.

As for the rest of the devices, in early 2025 we are waiting for the new iPhone SE and Apple Watch, the latter is likely what will happen, today the company will show new Macs — The basic 24-inch iMac with M4, two versions of the Mac updated mini (base chip and M4 Pro) and the new 16-inch M4 MacBook Pro.
