Apple website hints at the arrival of Apple Watch with 4G support in the Netherlands – Tablets and phones – News

A Dutch support page for Apple Watch models with 4G has recently appeared on the Apple website. The tech giant has been offering Apple Watch 4G smartwatches for some time, but does not currently sell them in the Netherlands.

Of Dutch support page explains to users how to set up a cellular connection on their Apple Watch, including Dutch screenshots showing this. The page appears to have been published recently, noticed iPhoned up first. Previously, the support article about Apple Watches with 4G referred to the American website of the tech company. The support page also refers to a separate Dutch webpage for an Apple Watch with 4G, which is not yet online.

It seems that, in addition to its smartwatches with WiFi, Apple will also offer models with LTE support in the Netherlands. The company is already selling Apple Watch 4G models in other countries, including Belgium, Germany, France and the United States.

With an Apple Watch 4G model, users can receive calls, reply to messages, receive notifications and use other mobile services on their Apple Watch, without having to pair it with an iPhone. For this, owners can use their regular telephone subscription, via eSIM. A provider may charge additional monthly costs for this. This does happen in the US, for example, but no concrete details are yet known for the Dutch market.

Several Dutch telecom providers currently offer eSIM, but do not support Apple Watches for the time being. This may therefore change soon, given the support page of Apple. The company is expected to introduce new Apple Watch Series 7 watches next month, along with new iPhone models. The company may therefore announce that it will bring Apple Watch 4G variants to the Netherlands.
