New and more varied surfaces
watchOS 9 introduces four new watch faces: the “Lunar Calendar” which shows the relationship between Gregorian and Lunar calendars, a calendar used by cultures such as Chinese, Islamic and Jewish; created in collaboration with the artist Joi Fulton, the unique dynamic “Game Time” on Apple Watch “; the classic and customizable” Metropolis “, whose style changes with the rotation of the digital crown; the original surface completely recreated” Astronomy “with the latest star map and cloud information in real time.

Users can now set Apple Watch faces to appear automatically when they enable certain focus modes on their iPhone, such as using the Face Photo when Personal Focus Mode is enabled, to help users stay concentrate.
