The next generation Apple Watch Ultra is expected to launch in 2026. Analysts told us what they will be like.
Research firm TrendForce has revealed the features of the new Apple Watch Ultra. The Apple brand is preparing to update them on a large scale.
The flagship smartwatch will have a huge display. The screen diagonal will be 2.12 inches instead of the current 1.92 inches – an increase of approximately 10%, clarifies 9to5Mac. The illustration below shows how this change will affect the dimensions of the watch.
The panel will also change. The OLED “killer” – microLED – is expected to appear. Thanks to this technology, the picture will become clearer, brighter and more saturated, and the Always On Display option will use more power economically.
There is a nuance. To develop an improved display, Apple will have to pay 2.5-3 times more. Consequently, innovations will be reflected in the final price of the gadget for buyers.
