Apple sent a memo to authorized service centers in which it said it was investigating an issue with false touches in the Apple Watch Series 9 and Apple Watch Ultra 2.
The company noted that some customers refer to these touches as “ghost touches.” That is, they work randomly.
According to Cupertino, this issue may cause the screen on affected Apple Watch models to “jerk erratically” or exhibit other unexpected behavior without any user interaction. The issue could also cause the Apple Watch to unintentionally trigger a phone call and prevent users from entering their password.
Apple advises users to stay tuned for software updates. The bug will probably be fixed with the new version of watchOS. The company asked ASC not to temporarily repair or change such watches.
As a temporary solution, experts advise restarting your Apple Watch while holding down the Digital Crown and the side button. [MacRumors]
