Apple Watch Series 8 can tell if you have a fever!

Mark Gurman, this time Apple It made a sound with the body heat feature of the Watch Series 8. According to Gurman, the upcoming Apple Watch Series 8 will be able to notify the user when they have a fever higher than normal body temperature, thanks to a new built-in sensor.

APPLE WATCH SERIES 8 WILL MEASURE YOUR FEVER

Writing in the latest issue of the Power On newsletter, Gurman said he thinks the “Apple Watch Series 8” will feature a new body temperature sensor, provided the sensor passes Apple’s internal testing. The tech writer stated that he believes the sensor is suitable for both the standard Apple Watch Series 8 and a new “sturdy model” designed for athletes.

Accordingly, the new Apple Watch Series 8 will not read users’ current body temperatures directly, instead, it will directly warn users when it thinks they have a fever.

High fever is among the most common symptoms of some viral infections, especially Covid-19.

FEATURES OF APPLE WATCH SERIES 8…

The features of the Apple Watch Series 8 include the new body temperature sensor, as well as the same processor as the Series 6 and 7, and it is expected to retain the same design as the Apple Watch Series 7. But higher-end models of the Apple Watch Series 8 may include updated displays.
