Apple Watch Series 7 expected to be 41mm and 45mm

San Francisco:

Apple is expected to introduce the Apple Watch Series 7 in the new 41mm and 45mm size options instead of the 40 and 44mm.

The larger screen will feature thinner edges and a new lamination technique that brings the screen closer to the front cover, along with updated display technology, reports MacRumors.

The 45mm Apple Watch Series 7 model, which will be the largest to date, will have a body size measuring 1.9 inches diagonally, up from 1.78 inches.

The Apple Watch Series 7 is also rumored to include a smaller S7 chip that uses double-sided technology to miniaturize the module, according to the report.

The S7’s smaller chip will leave more room for other components, and a source suggests that Apple will use that extra space for a larger battery or a new health sensor, he added.

The tech giant is also expected to introduce improved wireless connectivity and an upgraded U1 Ultra Wideband chip.

Tech giant Apple will unveil the upcoming iPhone 13 series on September 14. However, recent reports suggest that production of the upcoming Apple Watch Series 7 has been delayed.

The current unsatisfactory production quality can be attributed to the complexity of the design, which is significantly different from previous generation watches, according to the report.
