During your latest event, where it made known to the world the iPhone 13 family and new iPads, Apple also confirmed news when it comes to your next generation of smart watches. The Cupertino giant now reveals that the Apple Watch Series 7 arrives on October 15th, with pre-reservations starting on the next 8th of this month, starting at 13:00 (Lisbon time).
As the technology made known during the Apple Event, the new generation of smart watches promises to withstand the most ostentatious drops and has a larger screen than previous versions. The Apple Watch Series 7 has 40% less frame than the previous model, confirming the rumors that pointed to a rounded edge design.

The buttons also “grew” to keep up with the increase in size of the screen itself, which, according to Apple, has 27% more visible text. It will be possible to write on the screen’s virtual keyboard, like smartphones, thanks to a machine learning system that tries to predict and complete sentences.
Durability was one of Apple’s concerns, which included reinforced glass and IPX6 certification, giving the smart watch more water and dust resistance. The smartwatch, which will be sold in five colors and a new collection of bracelets, is faster to charge than the previous generation and has a superior autonomy and its frames were made from 100% recyclable materials.
At the “ride” of the new Apple Watch 7, Apple talked about some news of the Fitness+ service, including new virtual trainers and fitness classes, with guided meditations that are now available. Apple says that new exercises will be updated weekly. The new Group Workout mode supports multiple users simultaneously, who can compare results, and arrives at the end of the year on smartwatch.
For now, the Portuguese version of the website Apple still does not present indications as to the price of the new smartwatch in the national market. Nonetheless, in statement, Apple indicates that, in the United States, the Apple Watch Series 7 will start at $399. The company will also keep the Series 3 model for $199, the SE for $279.
