Apple Watch 9 RED Released to Commemorate AIDS Day, Raising Donations to Fight This Disease

Liputan6.com, Jakarta – Apple released a special red edition of the Apple Watch Series 9 as part of its efforts to commemorate World AIDS Day. In presenting this product, Apple is partnering with RED, an organization that raises funds to fight HIV/AIDS.

RED and Apple will jointly donate a portion of the proceeds from sales of this watch to global organizations that support efforts to eradicate AIDS, TB and malaria.

Quoting the Gizchina page, Monday (4/12/2023), the Apple Watch Series 9 RED is a limited edition. This watch uses a red aluminum case and a red palette for its appearance.

Apart from introducing the Apple Watch Series 9 RED version, Apple will also launch a red palette dial and sun pointer. Additionally there is a series of special dials such as Metropolis, World Time, monochrome numerals and gradient.

Features on Apple Watch Series 9 RED

The Apple Watch Series 9 RED has the same features as the regular version of the Apple Watch Series 9. Including an always-on Retina display, a heart rate sensor, and a blood oxygen sensor.

This watch is available in two sizes, namely 41mm and 45mm. The watch comes with a red aluminum case and a similar red Sport Band.

The Apple Watch Series 9 is water resistant to a depth of 50 meters and has a lifespan of up to 18 hours.

One of the unique features of the Apple Watch Series 9 RED version is its Pallete watch face. This view has background red with a gradient effect changing throughout the day. This display also includes the wearer’s heart rate.
