The Apple Watch 7 is currently making negative headlines.
There are many reports of the Apple Watch as a savior in times of need. In the past, we have also described a case from America where the watch contributed to a fundamental diagnosis.
The fact that such a gadget can also go the other way and cause injury is now proven by a case of such an American 9to5Mac website reports. Fortunately, the wearer was able to throw the watch out the window in time to keep it from getting worse. But what exactly happened?

The next morning, the heat problem seemed to not only persist, but also worsen, according to the wearer. The heat in the case had increased so much that the watch display had shattered.

Once again, the user turned to Apple to provide the latest events of the threatening situation. Ultimately, he was only told that the case was top priority and that Apple would take back the defective product to allow the lab to investigate further. In the past there was at least more evidence of battery swelling and, at worst, that ended with a small detonation. The Web site Golem already reported on a corresponding class action against Apple.
At present, at least, this cannot be assumed to be a general problem. If your Apple Watch feels unusually hot on the wrist and the device also shows a message on the display, you should be careful and remove the watch from your body.
