Apple Vision Pro Revolutionizes Medical Field with Success in Rotator Cuff Surgery

The Apple Vision Pro could be an important medical aid. At least that’s what we saw several cases of surgeons using spatial computing glasses to help them during the procedures. The latest case comes to us from Brazil. An orthopedic doctor used Vision Pro to successfully operate on a patient with a torn rotator cuff.

Shoulder arthroscopy surgery was performed by doctor Bruno Gobbato at Jaraguá Hospital, in Brazil.  According to information shared by doctor Gobbato, the Apple Vision Pro was used to help during the surgical procedure.
In this intervention, The patient had a rotator cuff fracturean injury often caused by the gradual wear and tear of tendon tissue over time.

Shoulder arthroscopy surgery uses a camera inside the joint and surgeons perform this surgery looking directly at the screen.  With this device, it was possible to put the screen in cinema size with high resolution, as well as being able to see patient tests and 3D models in real time.

The doctor said.
Gobbato praised the dynamic range of Apple Vision Pro cameras.  make everything around the light area too dark.
He also shared a video on YouTube which showed how you could see your notes, patient x-rays and the live camera at the same time with Vision Pro A few years ago, the same doctor had already used the device Microsoft HoloLens during surgery.

Doctors think so game changer
Last month, Apple explained in detail as a Vision Pro application it can be used in robotically assisted knee and hip surgeries.
A British neurosurgeon later praised Vision Pro as a "game changer" after it was used during spinal surgery.
