Why Apple Vision Pro is useless in Russia

Russian netizens noticed a strange limitation on the site. It turns out that you cannot use the Apple Vision Pro helmet with a Russian Apple ID. That is, Russians will have to create additional accounts linked to the American region in order to use the helmet. Because of another account, the Russian will not be able to synchronize all his data with the iPhone, including photos, videos and passwords from websites and social networks.

The second limitation is that the Apple Vision Pro interface only works in English. Siri, keyboard, applications, dictation service and other elements of VisionOS have not yet been translated into other languages. Perhaps Russian and other languages will appear with system updates, but at the start, using a helmet in Russia is problematic and expensive.

Users also learned that at the start of sales, popular streaming services will not be supported by Apple Vision Pro. For example, the helmet will not have the YouTube, Netflix or Spotify application. The companies themselves temporarily refused to release applications for the new device.
