“Apple Urges Immediate Update to iOS 16.4.1(a) to Patch Dangerous Security Holes on iPhone”

JAKARTA, KOMPAS.TVApple has released update operating system iOS 16.4.1 (a) to patch dangerous security holes on the iPhone, Monday (8/5/2023) local time.

Update this comes a few weeks after Apple released iOS 16.4.1. According to the update window shared by GizChina,

Apple asks all iPhone users to do so immediately update.

In release update-Apple confirms that this update contains important security fixes and is recommended for all users.

Although Apple did not provide details of the security fix, as reported GizChina update this fixes the security hole zero day attack.

Zero day attack is a type of attack in which the attacker takes advantage of a security hole that is vulnerable and not yet known by the system maker.

In this case, the attacker can take advantage of this security hole to access user data on the iPhone.

Therefore, Apple advises users to immediately update their devices to the latest iOS version to prevent this attack.
