iPhone 15 Pro and iPhone 15 Pro Max feature a strong, lightweight titanium design, making them the lightest Pro iPhones ever made.
All-new action button
Apple replaced the mute button with an all-new action button. Users can choose between quickly accessing the camera or flashlight; Activate voice memos, focus and translation modes, and accessibility features like Magnifier.
The first “Pro” processor in iPhone devices
Apple has equipped the iPhone 15 Pro and 15 Pro Max with an A17 Pro processor that provides performance improvements, and the new CPU is up to 10 percent faster with improvements in microarchitecture and design.
The Neural Engine is now up to 2x faster, with features like auto-correction and personalized audio coming to life in iOS 17.
It also includes console-like games for the first time on iPhone
What the A17 Pro processor does is that it enhances gaming performance.
The iPhone 15 Pro brings console titles like Resident Evil Village, Resident Evil 4, Death Stranding, and Assassin’s Creed Mirage to iPhone.

The primary camera allows users to switch between three popular focal lengths — 24mm, 28mm, and 35mm — and even choose one as a new default.
In addition to 48MP ProRAW, the main camera also supports 48MP HEIF images with 4x greater resolution, and iPhone 15 Pro also features an expanded 3x telephoto camera.
All-new Smart HDR technology for better photography
The new Smart HDR captures subjects and backgrounds with more realistic renderings of skin tones. Photos also have brighter highlights, richer midtones, and deeper shadows, Apple says.
Better low-light photography
Apple claims that with models iPhone 15 ProNight mode gets even better with sharper details and more vibrant colors.
It is powered by the optical engine, including night mode images, which are enabled by the LiDAR scanner.
USB-C is coming to iPhones
Both models use a USB‑C connector, a first for iPhone, and offer the option of the same cable to charge iPhone, Mac, iPad, and the updated AirPods Pro (2nd generation).
Users can also charge AirPods or Apple Watch directly from iPhone using the USB‑C connector. iPhone 15 Pro and iPhone 15 Pro Max support USB 3 for data transfer speeds of up to 10 Gbps, up to 20 times faster than before.
Find friends using iPhones
Both models feature a second-generation Ultra Wideband chip, allowing two iPhones with this chip to connect with three times the range as before.
iPhone 15 users can share their locations and find each other, even in crowded places.
