Apple Unveils 15-Inch MacBook Air at WWDC: Specs, Price, and Colors

The long-rumored large-size MacBook Air really made its debut at the opening of this WWDC. Its Liquid Retina display expanded to 15.3 inches, the largest ever in the lineup, but it still retained the notch notch that many people disliked, housing the 1080p video camera. This panel supports 1 billion colors and can reach a maximum brightness of 500 nits. At the same time, in the “world’s thinnest” (11.5mm) body, Apple also packed six speakers, and the weight of the body was 3.3 pounds (about 1.5kg).

The device is equipped with the same M2 chip as the 13-inch MBA, with 8 CPU cores and 10 GPU cores. It still uses a fanless design, while providing up to 18 hours of battery life. The port configuration is the same as the 13-inch model, still dual USB 4 plus MagSafe. As for the color matching, there are four kinds of gray, silver, blue, and gold, and the price starts from US$1,299, and the reservation is accepted today. While launching the new 15-inch machine, the price of the 13-inch M2 Air is also reduced by US$100. In addition, the M1 Air will now be sold at a starting price of US$999.
