Apple seemed to have turned the page on Ted Lasso after his club’s accession to the English Premier League. And yet, the fourth season would be approaching. Heading to the Champions League?
With a final episode titled “Goodbye, goodbye”the Ted Lasso series could not end better. For three years, Jason Sudeikis sometimes made millions of viewers laugh, sometimes made them cry, allowing him and his production to win a ton of prizes and awards.
With the series initially planned to last for three seasons, the very idea that a fourth and final season could exist seemed very distant, if not impossible. And yet, you should never say never. There Film & Television Industry Alliancewhich lists filming in progress or planned, indicated in its database that filming for season 4 of Ted Lasso was scheduled for January 6.
We do not yet know the ins and outs of this new season, except that the film crews have planned to go to London, but also to the United States to film scenes. The release date is certainly not for now. In the best case scenario, season 4 of Ted Lasso will arrive at the end of 2025, while the worst omen lets us imagine a release for the beginning of 2026. Regardless, we are at least reassured that Ted Lasso will make a comeback.
