More than 7 years ago, the American company, Apple, began designing virtual reality glasses, according to Bloomberg.
However, the glasses that the company is expected to announce soon will be sold at a very high price that may reach $3,000!
And while Apple is preparing to unveil the product in June, it is still unclear how it will push users to buy the device.
Variety of features
However, the company plans to fill the glasses with a variety of features, from games to fitness services and even an app for reading books in virtual reality. While it is possible that the new glasses will be called Reality Pro or Reality One.
According to Bloomberg, the device is full of new technologies and a wide range of capabilities, including the ability to run most iPad applications, but in virtual reality.
This includes Books, Camera, Contacts, FaceTime, Files, Home, Mail, Maps, Messages, Music, Notes, Photos, Reminders, TV, and Weather.
Advanced video meetings
The glasses are also capable of running hundreds of thousands of existing third-party iPad apps found in the App Store.
It also contains a new portal for watching sports in virtual reality. It is capable of holding advanced video meetings and virtual meeting rooms, making users feel as if they are interacting in the same space.
