Apple to Showcase Advanced Artificial Intelligence Features Powered by Own Chips in Cloud Data Centers

JAKARTA – According to a Bloomberg News report on Thursday, May 8, Apple will show some of its artificial intelligence features (artificial intelligence) coming this year through data centers powered by Apple’s own chips. This step was taken because the iPhone maker is trying to integrate next-generation artificial intelligence into its products.

The company will install its chips in cloud computing servers that will be able to handle advanced artificial intelligence tasks that will be present in Apple devices, sources familiar with the aforementioned matter.

According to the report, the chip is similar to the chip that powers Apple’s Mac computers, and simpler artificial intelligence tasks will be processed on the device.

Plans to use its own chips and cloud processing for these artificial intelligence tasks began about three years ago, but Apple accelerated the timetable after the launch of ChatGPT OpenAI started the artificial intelligence movement, according to the report.

Earlier this week, Apple announced the next generation of chipset, the M4, which will power the new iPad Pro models and support a number of intelligent capabilities.
