Apple will soon launch a new music streaming service, Apple Music Classical, on March 28.
The application can be downloaded from the App Store. The new app will provide a broader and more detailed look at classical music than Apple Music or other mainstream music services.
Apple Music Classical will run on a basic Apple Music subscription, and the music in the catalog will be available with spatial audio at 192 kbps. The app will have hundreds of playlists and thousands of exclusive albums, as well as composer biographies and guides. Initially, the application will be released on iOS, but in the future it will also appear on Android.
Apple bought the classical music service Primephonic in August 2021, after which it closed and all content moved to Apple Music. Apple initially planned to launch its own classic streaming service in 2022.
