Apple starts with a live stream of music videos – RadioVisie

But do we really need a new MTV?

To immediately answer the question above: apparently there is indeed interest in music that is put together by a DJ or in this case: a veejay. Presenters who each have their own taste and where you know where you stand. Something, it seemed, was Apple’s intention when it bought Beats, but where after a while the DJs also disappeared.

Now, however, there are new plans for a streaming music channel, with videos, selected by a number of DJs: Apple Music TV. A service that is currently only available in the US and can be viewed in the Apple Music app, Apple TV and on the website apple.co/AppleMusicTV. Although – you can’t really watch the videos via that link, because the Apple TV app opens there. But it is true that you can also listen to the new music service on devices other than those from the Apple stable, including on your Windows computer.

What does the programming look like? Every Friday at 12:00 PM there are new videos and there are special video blocks featuring music videos selected by a DJ. There is also room for live shows, events, charts and special guests. (HvG)
