One of the hottest rumors ahead of Apple’s WWDC developer conference was that Apple would unveil a new version of the MacBook Pro. That did not happen, however, but it seems as if it was something that Apple may have planned but canceled at the last minute.
I metadatan till Apples YouTube broadcast from WWDC’s keynote references have been found for both “m1x” and “m1x MacBook Pro” (see image below). Rumors before WWDC stated that the possible MacBook Pro would be equipped with a new variant of Apple’s M1 chip called “M1X”, something that the now found meta-data seems to confirm.
Even the initiated Apple analyst Jon Prosser stated before WWDC that Apple planned to show off a new MacBook Pro. In other words, it seems as if Apple has a new MacBook Pro model on the way, but why they chose not to show it at WWDC, there is so far no information about.
