jpnn.com – Apple announced that it will add its newest product this year, namely the iPad.
The device will be equipped with an OLED type screen which is claimed to be thinner and lighter
According to ET News, the OLED screen was supplied from two Korean manufacturers, namely Samsung and LG.
GSM Arena, Wednesday (13/7) reported that the OLED screen was designed using the “dry etching” method using chemicals in the form of gas and plays a role in removing layers of material, so that it can be thinner and lighter.
Apple is also rumored to be developing a special coating for the display that will make the panels more durable.
The first prototype unit of Apple’s iPad in 2024 is reportedly already being tested internally.
This latest news is different from the previous one because it mentions panel OLED used will be double stacked and of course make the device heavier.
However, the technique was previously thought to be able to improve screen brightness better for iPad users. (between/jpnn)
