Because it still hasn’t been introduced, one has to wonder if Apple is even planning to launch a new iPhone SE. But a pretty clear app store glitch shows that the device has probably only been moved.
In the Corona crisis, most users are probably not as relaxed with their money as they were a few months ago. The demand for an iPhone that does not cost at least 800 euros could be all the greater. This is especially true for owners of an older device that is slowly giving up the ghost and can no longer expect updates. So where is the new iPhone SE, which was actually expected in the shops in early April?
Suppliers have difficulties
After it was said for a long time that the new iPhone SE would appear on time despite the corona crisis, there have been clear signs since the beginning of March that the pandemic for Apple’s production has not been without consequences. And even though the stores are dense, Apple had to limit the sale of the current models in the online store to two devices.

The screenshot was not a fake, various websites checked it.
The offer, which has since been corrected, is also an indication that Apple will not call the device iPhone 9 or iPhone SE2, but will simply sell it as iPhone SE (2020). Apple may not even know when the time has come. It will probably depend on how quickly the Chinese factories start up production again and how quickly Apple’s shipping warehouse can be filled worldwide.
