When the first closings took place on March 14, 2020, Apple initially planned to reopen stores from March 27, but that did not happen and stores took turns opening and closing as the pandemic continued. .
Some stores started to reopen in May 2020, but until today not all stores have been reopened. Texas stores, including those in Houston and Dallas, were the last to reopen after winter storms hit the region.

Apple uses local health and safety guidelines to dictate which stores operate, so there is always a chance that there will be additional closings in the future if there is a change in a particular state.
Outside the United States, stores are still closed in France and Brazil.
