Filmmaker Philip Youmans followed the photographers to explore their hometowns with them. We find Chicago, Los Angeles, Charlotte and Washington. Here’s what Apple says in the description of its video for Black History Month:

In honor of Black History Month, 32 of the country’s most visionary black photographers show us their hometowns. Phillip Youmans, the youngest director to win the Tribeca Film Festival award, follows a number of our directors as they each celebrate black experience, black excellence, love and love. imagination.

Black History Month takes place every year in February. Apple achieved several things in February by highlighting developers, singers and other black artists on its services (Apple Music, App Store, Apple TV, etc.). The manufacturer also presented a limited edition Apple Watch. It was green and red, and was entitled to a specific dial.
