Apple has released iOS 16.5 for iPhone and iPadOS 16.5 for iPad.
As an update common to both, the problem that Spotlight may stop responding is resolved. It also fixes issues with Screen Time settings resetting and not syncing across all devices.
As a common security update, the vulnerability that the authority and privacy authority granted to the “Accessibility” application are used by a malicious application will be resolved.
The target models of the security update are iPhone 8 and later, iPad Pro (all models), iPad Air (3rd generation and later), iPad (5th generation and later), iPad mini (5th generation and later).
In addition, “iOS 16.5” will add a “Pride Celebration wallpaper” that celebrates the LGBTQ+ community and culture. It also fixes an issue where CarPlay’s Podcasts may not load content.
