A Apple released something new for owners of smartphones from the iPhone 13 and iPhone 14 families. With the new iOS 17.2 update, the wireless charging by induction it became faster. The new update was released on December 11th, releasing the Qi2 charging feature for older Apple devices.

This way, the iPhone 13, iPhone 14 and iPhone 15 can be charged at a speed of 15W, surpassing the 7.5W available before the update. In total, there are 12 devices that have the new possibility, including the “Plus”, “Pro”, “Pro Max” and “Mini” versions of smartphones.
Wireless charging takes place via the MagSafe inductor, which connects to the cell phone via a magnet on the back. The technology was introduced at Apple in 2017, through the iPhone 8 and iPhone the desired size.
