Apple Releases iOS 17.1.1, iPadOS 17.1.1, and watchOS 10.1.1 Updates to Fix Bugs

Apple has just released iOS 17.1.1, iPadOS 17.1.1, and watchOS 10.1.1 updates for compatible devices. This update focuses on fixing bugs that appear on some iPhone, iPad and Apple Watch devices, rather than bringing new features.

One of the bugs fixed in the iOS 17.1.1 update, namely the incorrect display of the Weather widget on the lock screen. This problem arises especially during snowy weather.

Apart from that, another problem is a bug in the Apple Pay feature and the NFC feature, which occurs after users carry out wireless charging in several BMW cars. This has also been fixed in iOS 17.1.1. Affected iPhone 15 users are strongly advised to immediately update to this latest version.

Unfortunately, there are several bugs experienced by some iPhone users, such as Wi-Fi connectivity problems and sudden shutdowns on the device, but it is not clear whether the iOS 17.1.1 update has resolved these problems. Apple didn’t mention it in the changelog after the update..

Meanwhile, watchOS 10.1.1 was also released to fix a problem with the Apple Watch, where users experienced the battery running out quickly. The update also includes several other “important bug fixes” for the Apple Watch, although it doesn’t specify what those issues are.

For iPhone, iPad and Apple Watch users who experience several bugs, it is of course recommended to immediately update the latest OS version. Users will receive the update gradually, and hopefully no new problems will arise after updating the OS, which usually happens frequently.
