Apple Releases “iOS 16.2/iPadOS 16.2” Beta 4 for Developers

While the changes to beta 4 have not yet been disclosed, iOS 16.2 and iPadOS 16.2 releases include some significant changes. First, the Freeform collaboration app is available for iPhone, iPad, and Mac users, and Stage Manager external display support has been added to iPadOS. It also includes changes to the Home app, updates to the Weather app, and more.

In addition, Apple is also testing the “Rapid Security Response” feature in iOS 16.2. New in iOS 16, if a dangerous security vulnerability is discovered, it can be quickly fixed without releasing a new version of iOS.

Meanwhile, Apple is expected to release an official iOS 16.2 update in the middle of this month.
