A Apple released iOS 15.0.1 and iPadOS 15 this Friday (1). An update for phones and tablets of this brand brings a solution to a problem related to a flaw that causes unnecessary notifications that the storage is almost full, even if there is still enough free space. The update is now available for iPhone and iPad.

The update comes to users almost a month after Apple released iOS 15. The new version of the system resolves a bug due to which a notification appears in “Settings” with the following warning: “iPhone storage is almost full.” But, after checking the amount of occupied memory, the user realized that there was still a lot of free space.
The update also fixes issues related to unlocking the iPhone 13 screen with Apple Watch. However, Apple hasn’t said if the new version fixes a bug that causes the iPhone’s screen to lose sensitivity. Also missing from the update notes is a crash when sending photos through the Messages app.
Because the update is incremental, the rest of the iOS 15 and iPadOS 15 features remain unchanged. This includes the Focus mode, which allows you to create profiles to control notifications and other phone features. iOS 15 still has text and object recognition, a new version of Safari, FaceTime news, and more.

How to update iPhone to iOS 15.0.1?
The process for updating iOS 15.0.1 and iPadOS 15.0.1 is similar on iPad and iPhone. To install the update, you must have an iOS 15 compatible device, such as an iPhone 6S or later generations of Apple phones. Learn how to install an operating system update below:
- Open “Settings” of the system;
- Click the “General” item, and then select the “Software Update” option;
- Wait while the system checks for updates;
- Click the “Download and Install” button;
- Enter your mobile phone password.
Now just follow the instructions and save the upgradeable operating system. It is worth remembering that it is recommended that you connect to a Wi-Fi network to download a new version of iOS so that the update does not use up your entire data plan. During the update process, the device will also reboot.
