TEMPO.CO, Jakarta – Apple recently announced the latest generation operating system iOS 14. The update is compatible with several series of iPhone and iPad. The operating system was originally announced in June at the Apple Worldwide Developers Conference (WWDC), and only became available September 16, 2020.
Among the new features that are present at iOS 14, Apple is showing a new app manager and home screen widget for the first time on iPhone, as well as a more streamlined Siri interface. The new iOS 14 update will also let users play video thumbnails while doing other things and add masks to the Memoji feature.
As with the new iOS update, users may wonder if they can still use the old iPhone or it is time to upgrade to a newer version. When Apple revealed iOS 13 last year, the company led by Tim Cook announced an update that worked on the iPhone 6S, iPhone SE (2016) and later models.
This year the same, Apple didn’t exclude the iPhone 6S or earlier versions of the iPhone SE. Here’s the official list of devices that will work with iOS 14 and iPadOS 14, as reported by CNET, Thursday, September 17, 2020:
