Apple will release new programs, movies, series, and music concerts shot with Apple Immersive Video and will be available for free on Apple Vision Pro. Apple Immersive Video is a media format that leverages high-resolution 3D video and spatial audio to put viewers in the middle of the action.
Countdown to Sinking, the first scripted short film written and directed by Academy Award-winning filmmaker Edward Berger and shot on Apple Immersive Video, is now available. Next month, Apple and The Weeknd will deliver an immersive musical experience in celebration of the seven-time artist’s long-awaited new album, Hurry Up Tomorrow.
A new concert series, Concert for One, launching later this year, will allow fans to experience intimate concerts from some of the world’s greatest artists, with the t – British singer and songwriter RAYE performing in a special Sered set from the top batter. New episodes of Adventure, which follow aspiring athletes as they take on extraordinary challenges, will also be released this year.
“Countdown to Sinking”
“Countdown to Sinking” takes viewers inside a World War II submarine and follows its crew as they fight against a dangerous new threat.
Available for free to Apple Vision Pro users worldwide, this immersive fictional thriller takes viewers inside a World War II submarine and follows its crew as they ‘ fight against a deadly attack. This adrenaline-filled submarine experience tells a unique story powered by Apple Immersive Video.

Filmed over three weeks on location in Prague, Brussels and Malta, “Countdown to Sinking” features life-size ships modeled after World War II vessels made of real steel, bronze and iron Most of this set is built to withstand full immersion, and includes practical camera traps, as well as the ability to protect your Apple Immersive video camera from sparks, steam, water or water without losing the immersion of spectators who may be exposed to fire.
Cast members who may appear out of frame or in focus in 2D features are carefully scripted and perform extensive stunts, including diving tanks and ocean volunteer training. In the first episode of the “Elevated” air travel series, viewers fly above volcanoes, climb to the top of waterfalls and discover amazing natural wonders throughout Hawaii, the islands longest in the world.
The next episode, “Maine,” to be released early next year, will take viewers through beautiful locations, including the winding coastline and along a stunning river, to experience the balmy fall of New England.

On November 7, basketball fans can watch an immersive short film from the 2024 NBA All-Star Weekend featuring the Rising Stars, the Slam Dunk Contest, the first ever NBA vs. WNBA 3-Point Challenge with Stephen and Sabrina, and highlights from the All-Star Game You can enjoy.

Concert for One is the first music series shot with Apple Immersive Video, bringing fans closer to their favorite artists than ever before. The first show will be performed by six BRIT Award-winning RAYE with a 20-piece band, giving audiences the chance to experience RAYE’s fusion of R&B, jazz and pop from the best seats in the house.

Viewers can join senior director Faith Dickie as they venture into the thin air above Norway’s stunning fjords, traverse the streets and rooftops of Paris with some of the parkour athletes best in the world, and then 1 is invited to swim with the savior Ant Williams, who is trying to break a personal record for the longest distance under ice in just one breath. The next episode of “Adventure,” “Ice Dive,” will be released in the US in December.
Early next year, viewers will have the opportunity to experience the coast of Mallorca, Spain. World-class sport climber Kai Leitner takes on his biggest challenge yet, freeing up a remote rocky cove where even one slip could send him into the rough seas
