Launched Apple today released a new update for its mobile devices (iPhone) and (iPad) and its smart watch, the Apple Watch. iPhone users can download the new update with iOS version number 16.3.1, and iPad users can download iPadOS 16.3.1, while the Apple Watch got the wathOS 9.3.1 update.
The updates do not bring major new features, but they do include an important set of security patches and a number of bug fixes.
The update includes a fix for a problem within the iCloud cloud storage service application that some users suffered from, which is the appearance of a repeated error message telling them that the service is not responding, and the update also fixed a problem that occurred when asking Siri to use the Find My application that allows the user to find one of his devices, or on one of the contacts.
Apple also improved the Crash Detection feature on my (iPhone 14) and (iPhone 14 Pro) phones. And previous reports had talked about complaints from users to the company during the past weeks related to sending their phones false notifications stating that they had accidents while practicing sports activities such as skiing. However, Apple did not clarify whether it had solved this particular problem in its latest update.
Users can wait for the update to arrive on their devices automatically, or update manually by going to the Settings app on iPhones and iPads, selecting General Settings, and then pressing the Software Update option. Apple Watch users can update by pressing the General option in the main menu, then pressing the update button.
