Apple has announced new versions of its 14 and 16-inch MacBook Pro. The appearance of the laptops has not changed. The biggest innovation is the also new Apple M2 Pro and M2 Max processor.
According to Apple, the computers are up to six times faster than the fastest MacBook Pro with Intel processor thanks to the new processors. According to the company, the higher speed has no adverse effect on the battery life. The 16-inch MacBook Pro offers up to 22 hours of endurance on a single battery charge.
The design of the computers has remained virtually unchanged. The screens are 14.2 or 16.2 inches in size and can refresh the image up to 120 times per second. This ensures a quiet viewing experience. At the top of the screen is a notch containing a FaceTime camera with Full HD resolution.
The new MacBooks are also equipped with the backlit Magic Keyboard and Touch ID fingerprint sensor. The usual pressure-sensitive trackpad is located under the keyboard for the operation of the mouse.
The prices of the new MacBook Pro laptops start at 2,449 euros. The presale started today and the laptops will be delivered by Apple from January 24.
