Apple has redesigned the application of its cloud storage platform “iCloud” in the Windows system to facilitate application installation and improve the user interface.
The new appearance of the application aims to facilitate access to the iCloud cloud on computers running Windows, in addition to clarifying the content that is synced with Apple devices.
The new update to the iCloud application allows you to view the status of syncing content across the cloud and its progress, supports physical security keys to log in securely using your Apple ID, and improves the performance of photo synchronization.
The new update will also reduce the frequency of account login prompts, and solve problems synchronizing contacts and calendar with the Microsoft Outlook application, but Windows 11 on the computer must be updated to the 22H2 update or later.
The iCloud application in the Windows system allows access to photos stored in the cloud, displaying them in the Microsoft Photos application in the system, synchronizing photos with Apple devices, and creating shared albums. It also allows access to other files stored through the file management application in Windows.
The application also allows users to view the passwords saved in their accounts, in addition to contacts, calendars, bookmarks and other important information.
