After previously simplifying packaging to reduce waste, now the company from Cupertino, USA has announced that it will make iPhone devices that are environmentally friendly.

Launching from Ubergizmo, Sunday (27/3/2022), Apple will start using the world’s first carbon-free aluminum material. This applies to future iPhone devices.
Unfortunately, Apple itself still doesn’t dare to reveal in detail when this carbon-free aluminum material will be used. It seems that this is still a concept that has not necessarily been realized.
But if you look at Apple’s collaboration with aluminum producer, ELYSIS, this might actually happen. Vincent Christ as CEO of ELYSIS has also spoken about their collaboration.
“This is the first time that aluminum has been produced with purity, no greenhouse gas emissions and on an industrial scale. Sales to Apple confirms market interest in aluminum produced using our breakthrough ELYSIS carbon-free smelting technology. Today’s announcement proves that ELYSIS, a joint venture between Alcoa and Rio Tinto, is capable of turning ideas into reality,” said Vincent.
We’ll just have to wait and see if Apple will actually fulfill its intention to protect the environment. For more detailed information, the company may reveal at the launch of the latest iPhone SE 3 early tomorrow.
