While the supplier factories are slowly starting to operate again and half of the previously closed stores are opening again, several Apple locations in China are still in the quarantine area. The US company has now sent its employees extensive care packages, as reported by the magazine “MacRumors”.
A photo of such a package was shared on the Weibo Chinese social network. This includes breathing masks, a clinical thermometer and disinfectant spray. But the physical well-being is also taken care of: in addition to coffee and tea, there are several sweets. In addition, the employees receive a new iPad.

Apple announces advisory services
At the end of January, Apple CEO Tim Cook had already stated on Twitter that the health and safety of his employees was a top priority. In addition to donations for relevant local jobs, the company has announced that it will set up advice centers for affected employees.

As with other electronics manufacturers, Apple experiences delays after the outbreak of the corona virus.
