Apple has provided a new feature for users, which enables them to read voice messages, without having to listen to them, download an application or enter the settings.
This feature allows users to have a written copy of voice messages appear below the recording that the other party sent you, so the “Arab Technical Portal” website provides everything related to this feature and how to use and activate it:
The iOS 17 operating system on iPhones allows the feature of transcribing voice messages displayed on iMessage, and you can get this feature automatically once you install iOS 17 on an iPhone. All you have to do after the installation process are some steps that are as follows:
Installation steps
Go to any message on the Messenger application, and once you enter the conversation, you will find a + sign, once you click on it.
– A pop-up menu will appear with many tools such as camera, photos, videos, audio, etc.
All you have to do is click on the “audio” audio option, and then start recording. Once you have completed the recording process and sent the voice message, the content of the message will appear written below the voice recording.
If you want to keep the voice message on your phone, tap and hold on it until a group of options appear, from which you can choose to save voice memos.
