Apple intends to change the way Siri is activated using voice commands. This was reported by the portal Bloomberg.
To turn on the assistant, you usually need to say “Hey Siri.” However, Apple wants to set the program to only turn on when you say the name, not a special phrase. The company’s specialists are still working on an innovation that will also improve the capabilities of Siri and its integration with third-party applications. The update is expected to be released for iOS systems during 2024-2025.
In May, the French association Halte l’Obsolescence Program initiated an investigation against Apple. The company is accused of deliberately obsolete iPhone and limited repair options.
