Apple will release the new update for the iPhone iOS 16.2 operating system in mid-December 2022.
Last week, Apple announced the first beta of iOS 16.2 and iPadOS 16.2 to public developers and beta testers.
While it’s still in its infancy, these are the features and improvements that should appear with the new iOS 16.2 update.
Apple iOS 16.2 features
The new update will sync live activities with some sports on the iPhone TV app.
This will allow users to monitor games in real time through the iPhone lock screen or the interactive island in the iPhone 14 range.
The next feature will be the sleep widget on the iPhone lock screen as the iOS 16.2 update will bring three sleep widgets.
The former will provide the user with the number of hours they have spent sleeping. The second will bring up a graph showing how well you slept. The third is to visually display the number of hours of sleep.
Freeform will be available for developers and beta testers. It is a chalkboard or whiteboard on which to collaborate with colleagues. Also write down your thoughts or record anything that comes to your mind and share it with others.

These were the most important features expected for the new iOS 16.2 operating system. Of course, Apple could add more features and changes at launch.
It was reported that Mark Gorman had expected the iPhone maker to postpone the announcement of the new 14 and 16-inch MacBook Pros for next year. So we won’t see any MacBook Pro this 2022.
Finally, it is expected that Apple will make the next iOS 16.3 update available next year 2023. Specifically in February or March to coincide with the presentation of new devices with M2 chips.
