Jakarta, CNBC Indonesia – The iPhone 15 series that Apple introduced last September received a response that did not meet expectations, especially in China as one of the key markets.
Apple’s position as the king of cellphones in China also had to move to second place after being defeated by Huawei. In the Q3-2023 report from research firm Counterpoint, iPhone sales plunged 9%.
Meanwhile, in the 17 days after launch, iPhone 15 sales decreased 4.5% compared to iPhone 14.
However, Apple has prepared the next ‘surprise’. It seems that this is Apple’s effort so that the company’s income can be maintained at a time when iPhone 15 sales cannot be relied upon.
Quoted from Pocket-lint, Wednesday (25/10/2023), Apple is preparing to launch the newest 24-inch iMac in the near future. This was leaked by Mark Gurman, an expert from Bloomberg who is known to have credibility in the technology industry.
According to Gurman, the 24-inch iMac will be equipped with hardware updates. The PC has not been updated since the launch of the M1 chip version in 2021.
In terms of processor, the 24-inch iMac will reportedly use the latest M2 chip. In fact, there is news that the PC will use an M3 chip which has not yet been introduced to the public.
Apart from the 24-inch iMac, Gurman also predicts that Apple will introduce a new 13-inch MacBook Pro model. According to him, the update will not be visible from the design aspect, but rather from the internal ‘innards’.
Reportedly, Apple will hold an online launch event at the end of October. However, this rumor cannot be trusted 100% because there has been no confirmation from Apple. Let’s just wait!
