Obviously, a new patent from Apple shows that future iPads can change their appearance to macOS or Macbooks.
Patent with number. 11,320,869 this week, describes a hinged accessory that has multiple installation modes for tablet computing devices.
The accessory effectively adds the bottom of the MacBook to the iPad, turning it into a hybrid laptop.

Users can change the appearance of the UI to be like macOS by pairing an external keyboard to the iPad device.
Changes in UI appearance to macOS are expected to make it easier for users.
The patent document explains that external devices such as a keyboard integrated with a trackpad can connect with iPad to provide a macOS-like experience.

Later, the iPad can be configured to be able to change the appearance of the UI when the device is attached to an external keyboard.
The process of changing the UI appearance will occur automatically after the user attaches an external keyboard to the iPad device.
This technology allows users to experience the MacBook and iPad in one device.
When the keyboard is detached, users can enjoy their iPad with Apple Pencil.
Then, when the keyboard is attached, users can experience using a Mac with touchscreen support.

This patently Apple finding is in line with the predictions of Bloomberg journalist Mark Gurman some time ago.
Mark Gurman revealed that the future iPad will support 3 modes.
Namely touch screen mode, Apple Pencil optimization mode, and ‘Pro’ mode when an external keyboard or display is attached.
