In addition, “Apple” is the only one among the three largest smartphone manufacturers in the world, which showed an increase in sales volume last year – by 3.7%. The sales volume of “Samsung” decreased by 13.6%, while the sales volume of the third-placed Chinese “Xiaomi” decreased by 4.7%.
IDC’s preliminary data also show that a total of 1.17 billion smartphones were shipped worldwide last year, which is 3.2% less than a year earlier.
