Apple Music will celebrate 300 episodes and 6 years of Elton John’s Rocket Hour, one of the oldest radio shows to air on Apple Music Radio, featuring a multi-day celebration with special interviews and programming on Apple Music 1, Apple Music Hits, and Apple Music TV, ahead of the landmark episode.
Zane Lowe will begin with an in-depth interview with Elton this Thursday, July 15 at 10 AM PST on Apple Music 1. The two will reflect on Rocket Hour and look forward to what’s to come.

Special guests including Andrew Watt, Arlo Parks, Chad Smith, Channel Tres, Elton’s husband, David Furnish, Dua Lipa, Royal Blood’s Mike Kerr, Sam Fender, SG Lewis, and Rina Sawayama – will call or share voice notes during Zane’s interview to participate in the celebration.
As part of the festivities, Apple Music 1 will be hosting Rocket Day and repeating several of Elton’s favorite episodes of Rocket Hour before the big 300th episode, which will feature guests. on the road, The Weather Station and Jake Wesley Rogers. Spotlighting new talent, Elton John has continually strived to defend, from Teyana Taylor to Channel Tres, Lorde Y Billie Eilish – Rocket Day retrospective programming will include Rocket Hour’s Dance, Soul or Disco specials, and episodes co-hosted by Brandi Carlile, Q-Tip and more.
