After adding support for Apple TV+ in 2019, Roku is expanding the availability of Apple services with the addition of Apple Music, the iPhone maker’s streaming service. Indeed, the streaming company announced today that Apple Music is now available on its devices.
Apple Music arrive sur Roku
In a press release, Roku clarified that Apple Music on its devices includes full support for all 90 million songs, playlists offered by Apple. There is even support for live lyrics, streaming video clips in 4K and Apple Music Radio. Users can also see concerts available. Here’s Roku’s announcement:
“Starting today, Roku users can access over 90 million songs and 30,000 expert-curated playlists for all occasions, ad-free on the Apple Music app. Additionally, Roku users with an Apple Music subscription can live stream today’s hits, classics, and country with Apple Music Radio, as well as listen to songs, albums, and playlists from their own music library. The Apple Music app also allows users to watch 4K music videos on compatible devices and sing along to their favorite songs with synced lyrics. Subscribed users will also have access to original Apple Music shows, concerts, and exclusives, as well as personalized recommendations. »
Access to Apple Music on Roku devices is rolling out today to all users worldwide. You can find the Apple Music app by going to the Roku channel store. Besides, you can unlock a one-month free trial if you haven’t taken advantage of the free trial yet; afterwards, the price will be 9,99 euros per month. And of course, if you’re already subscribed to Apple Music, you can just sign in with your Apple ID.
