With iOS 18.1, TikTok users subscribed to Apple Music will be able to share their music with all their subscribers. A partnership between the two companies which therefore makes it possible to broadcast musical extracts from Apple Music on the social network.

The sixth beta of iOS 18.1 has been out for a few hours and the little new features are starting to show themselves. TikTok is finally compatible with Apple Music. It is thus possible to share an Apple Music song on the social network with a billion users.
A feature that has been present on Instagram and Snapchat for a long time but absent from TikTok until now. Better yet, it seems more advanced than competitors. When selecting the option Share the song on Apple Music, different options appear on TikTok. A post in video format, in photo format or via private message.
By opting for the video option, an audio clip of the music in question plays in the background on the user’s TikTok. A functionality completely absent from Snapchat and Instagram which have the only possibility of displaying the cover of the music with a redirection link to it. On the other hand, the lyrics present on Instagram are not integrated on TikTok. Each with its qualities and its faults.
