The new classical music app Apple Music Classical will arrive later this month to offer the platform’s subscribers more than five million songs and biographies of their composers.
The technology company acquired the classical music streaming service Primephonic at the end of August 2021, at which time it announced that its functions would come to its platform, although it also hoped to launch a specialized classical music application in 2022.

In this way, subscribers to this service from the iPhone manufacturer could access features such as improved navigation, searches by composer and repertoire, or detailed views of metadata, among others.
Apple has now announced the launch of the new Apple Music Classical application, which will offer subscribers to the platform access to “over five million songs, from new releases to celebrated masterpieces, plus thousands of exclusive albums”, as indicated in the App Store.
In this service, which presents an interface identical to that of Apple Music, you can also search by composer and work and has support for high audio quality (up to 192 kHz/24 bit Hi-Res Lossless). Likewise, the application will also show descriptions of works and biographies of composers.

Apple Music Classical is now available for pre-order in the App Store for iOS and iPadOS operating systems and will be available for free download later this month.
To use this application it is necessary to be subscribed to one of the Apple Music plans (Individual, Student, Family or Apple One), have an iPhone with iOS 15.4 or later versions and have an internet connection.
